McKinley High School plays its home games at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Built on the site of Fawcett Stadium, McKinley has been playing it's football games here since 1938.
Benson Stadium opened in August, 2017 with the Hall of Fame Festival activities. The first football game played in the facility was the annual NFL Hall of Fame Game featuring the Dallas Cowboys vs the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals played in the first Hall of Fame Game in 1963 when they were in St. Louis.
The stadium was designed by HKS Architects and The Welty Building Company served as the general contractor.
Benson Stadium seats 23,000 spectators. 11,933 seats are in the south stands and west endzone. The east endzone seating and fan plaza will be constructed at a later date.
Along with McKinley football and Hall of Fame events, Benson Stadium is home The Walsh University Cavaliers in NCAA Division II.
Benson Stadium continues to host all seven OHSAA State Football Finals.
