Pups earn regional crown and are now state bound

Solon girls basketball falls 51-49 to Canton McKinley in the Division I regional final

Chamera Young made the game-winning layup with 10 seconds remaining in the game to give the Bulldogs the Canton Division I regional final win.
The Bulldogs will play the winner of the Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame-Mason regional final in a state semifinal on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.
Kierstan Bell scored 22 points and Young finished with 10 points for the Bulldogs.
