Extra security delayed start of McKinley-Timken gameThankfully this was done, so why can't it happen at the Field House as a season ending game between the two schools as the schedule expands by two games in 2013? Prepare and make some F'n revenue for CCS?

Added thoughts, Since a boys and girls doubleheader can not be played to conclude the season due to tournament conflicts, let get the ball rolling for the All-City boys and girls doubleheader to take place on one or two of the following times of the year... 1) All-City Home for the Holidays Night, week between Christmas and the New Year, JV's play the night before as a two-night affair. 2) The MLK All-City Sunday. Boys and girls doubleheader played the Sunday afternoon/early evening the day before the Monday of MLK day. If you don't dream it...

Depending on the extent of the extra security, there may not have been a lot of revenue.

i don't get why this game became such a big problem - i don't remember that many problems during or after the game in the 80's and 90's. its unfortunate when the same morons who ruin the midnight practice every year can inadvertently also cause this basketball game that was played for 50+ years not to occur. its an embarrassment to the city in the fact the two teams in the district can't even schedule each other because of stupidity outside of the game itself. hopefully this can be corrected. my guess is mck and timken won't meet in the regular season any time soon.
I've watched the dogs of war enjoying their feast, I've seen the western world go down in the east...

The Holiday event sounds great, but MLK weekend's a bad idea with McKinley's continued involvement in the Classic in the Country. It's a great event and gets the kids in a tournament type atmosphere in front of hundreds of college coaches. MLK event would be great if and when the Lady Pups run at the CITC ends tho

How about an all Canton night? Canton McKinley, N. Canton Hoover, Canton South and E. Canton match ups? At least one time with E. Canton against South and McKinley vs N. Canton? If possible?

I don't think that would ever be possible due to the seperation of enrollment between the schools.

Yeah that would be tough because you'd have to keep the match-ups the same.. no one wants to see EC play Hoover/McKinley... McK-Timken and Central-STA the same night would be entertaining and a huge crowd but again doubt it'd ever happen.
