I am amazed at the passion to keep Ron Jon; I would have thought he was the next coming of Vince Lombardi. He did some good things thing here, but he very average on the field. Did he ever win the Federal out right? How many playoff games did he win? (2-3) over 4 years? I can't believe what I am reading here, some of you want the program to hit "Rock Bottom" or the district to pay thousands of dollars if you do not get your way? It is UNBELIEVEABLE, how immature, self-centered and misguided you are. In the end you will only hurt the kids you pretend to support. Do you realize that? Simply you never were fans of this program. Please never show up for another game, we do not need you. Where were all of you when Hodakievic was run out of here. A guy who won it all his first year with 5-6 returning starters? If you do not like the decisions of the BOE, get off of you rear and run for the board and change them, but Never wish ill will on the program, the community and the kids.

Just for clarification, when you say "we do not need you," who is "we" and who is "you."

there are good canidates on that list --- FEAR , listen to sloanchile --- Mck hired aguy in Ron Jon who had a LOSING record at his previuos school in Middletown...at least you have some canidates like PAul Farrah who have actually been succeessful -- its a cold realty ,but it still comes down to W's and L's and ,again for the 1000000000th time , i did not like the way they did RJ , i think the BOE is inept , i also think chick and nelse is overrated and sloanchile will not vote for the 3 amiga's next time ,no way ---BUT , for the first time in the history of this forum , dirty dawg is 100% on the money ---there are plenty of people --black,white and candy striped who are not sad that ron jon is not the coach any longer ---some people who DD (Dave) would be real surprised to know did not have any real confidence in his ability to adjust during games even when his assistant coaches would try to input their concern he would turn them off

Sloan...there are some good options on that list...you got that right...got to get a good one from the list...pick your poison.

Actually, that's not what was said. The question was...who, in their right mind, would want the job? Johnson applied to optimize the payout from his lawsuit. Aside from him, it's pretty reasonable to ask who (given that they've done some basic web browsing) would want this job. Four of the last five coaches were ousted amidst turmoil....anyone who thinks they won't be next is simply ignorant or arrogant.

To make matters worse this time, the new coach (unless if it's Johnson) won't have anywhere near the financial support that the previous coaches had.

GlenOak is sitting over there saying "welcome son."

Yep and your side loaded up the list with weak candidates who don't even meet YOUR OWN criteria. Great job

They're going to interview 15 people from that list?

My thoughts exactly. You have to dig pretty deep to find 10 worth interviewing.

I'm thinking much more positive,at least twelve on that list would be good for the KIDS...I'm not seeing what you all see,we have a chance here to name a good coach for EVERYONE,now let's do it.

My question is does the so called committee know what it takes to run a high school football program. Many don't but think they do. X's and O's are not the only thing you look for....and many don't know that.
