Are you kidding me? I found that article both heartening (because someone cares) and depressing (because we can't support programs at a high level). Maybe instead of running around town asking former district employees if McKinley should hire a new football coach, our administrators can figure out how to get some decent instruments in our kids' hands.

Maybe instead of running around threatening to cut salary from the athletic budget to satisfy a political agenda, they can update the website more than once a school year and let us know what's going on in the district.

The apparent layers of dysfunction here are alarming to me; and yes folks, McKinley athletics can and will circle the drain if the rest of the operation does.
