Massillon vs GlenOak

Massillon's quarterback remarks. "I thought we were the better team period." "I think were the best team in Stark County, and no one in Stark County can stop us. "We set out to prove no Federal League team can beat us"

WOW!

We beat Huber Heights on Saturday and there is a very good chance that it's:
McKinley (9-0) vs. Massillon (9-0) in week 10.

It appears thus far that:
1. GlenOak is not going to be unbeaten when we play them and are not as good as advertised.
2. Hoover is not going to be unbeaten when we play them and are not as good as advertised.
3. Massillon is better than people thought and have a chance to end up 9-1 after game #10
4. McKinley is much better than people were projecting prior to Iggy scrimmage & 81-0 win.

We're in for a great season.....My condolances to SloanChile, who probably will jump on the bandwagon after we beat Huber Heights & GlenJoke!!

Massillon looked very good last night, but as far as being the best team in Stark County...well, I'll just let week 10 do the talking. Glenoak's defense didn't look good at all, and playing against us is going to be a whole different ball game for Massillon, from that standpoint alone. If our offensive line plays well (Massillon repeatedly got pressure on the QB last night), should be a great matchup this year.

As for Glenoak, they're going to have a hard time contending for the Fed if they don't play better than last night. I expect our defense to dominate them week 6. GO PUPS!

Florida Polar Bear you must not know the schedule of Massillon or you have been baking in the sun to long to make a statement that those hillbillies will be 9-0 when they play us. Do you not know they play Steubenville, St. Ignatius, Mentor the second half of the season. They will lose at least 2 if not all three of those games before the play the Dawgs. Get your facts straight before you predict the tiggers 9-0. Well then again you think the Magic are going to win it all so what Else CAN I SAY.

Pappydawg:

1. You're right, I did not know Massilon's schedule, I was more concerned with Mckinley being 9-0 going into week #10. Sorry!!

2. I try to stay in A/C and not get too sunbaked here in Florida.

3. I do believe that Orlando Magic has a very good chance of winning NBA Championship in 2010. We made some great off season moves in obtaining Vince Carter and some key free agents. The Cavs also made some great off season moves and we should meet in Eastern Conference finals. Boston will be the third great team in the East. It will be the "big Three" and everyone else. Key injuries could decide which of these three teams do not play in conference finals.

4. Getting very excited for the start of College football this week-end!!

I saw the replay of this game. And I hate to
admit it but, Massillon did look good out there
and could possibly win Region 2 (just my opinion).

But week 10 could be two 9-1 teams.
