2012 Boys Senior Night is Friday against Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary and after losing five straight earlier in the season, McKinley boys have won 8 straight!

Get your behind in line and put your butt in the seat in The House on Friday and rip the roof off the joint by showing these young men how much their effort in turning around the season is appreciated by a great turnout!

McKinley boys this season have lost five in a row and now have won 8 in a row. The first time in 112 seasons that two such streaks of that length happened in the same season.
Previous teams that come close…

1963, Lost 3 in a row, after winning the first 5, but won 10 straight to end the season.
1977, 1982 and 2002 each had a 3 game losing streak and a 5 game winning streak.

1963 lost region final,
1977 lost regional semifinal
1982 lost district semifinal
2002 lost in the Final Four.

WHBC is carrying the game. The afternoon news guy (who's name escapes me) will be doing some play by play with Sam. He's showing him the ropes in the hopes he can cover a game or 2 while Sam is in Arizona for the Indians spring training during the tourney.
