Who will be coaching this team?? This is the area that BOA should be concentrating on as opposed to our Football Coach.

How did the academics of our Basketball team compare to the great results of our football team?? I haven't heard any mention of great strides in academic's from our basketball team or did they use "study tables", which is better than improving the academics of the students? We sure underperformed on the hardwood!!

Malone will be taking the athletic director position and wll not be the basketball coach.
Dru Joyce will be the next coach.

Were't you the one who said it was a done deal that Cross was leaving after the 2006 playoffs? What makes you so sure this time?

While it's not impossible (though nothing is a done deal yet regardless of what some 'insiders' seem to think), can anyone tell me why Joyce would leave a school with great tradition where he can recruit freely (and counts on it for talent) to come to a program where he'd be under scrutiny every day he's there from other schools for recruiting

When is this finger pointing going to cease?

You're really reaching here Dave.... REALLY reaching. I only came back to defend the booster club officers and members against attacks that you (surprise, surprise) had no problems with...but I make a comment about the view of the community in general and you make a federal case out of it. I'll gladly go back into hiding if you can't get past your personal agenda.

As for the post, I'll delete the second half of my post but it's not finger pointing as I didn't name anyone in specific... you're the one making assumptions.... denying that our reputation/how we're viewed is negative and will impact who does/doesn't apply for this job is just burying your head in the sand and denying that it's caused by a small minority makes it seem you think that the views are correct and we're all like that? Again completely incorrect. McK has a fantastic supportive fanbase.... unfortunately the strong majority has not in the recent past been vocal enough. A few bad apples are spoiling the bunch.

I do not believe I said Cross was leaving after the 2006 playoffs. If you can pull a post that supports your claim, than so be it.
With your 5 post, were you even around then.
I know I had said that Cross had went to Super and asked if his contract was going to be renewed for the 08 season. He was told that his contract would be up for renewal in the spring of that year.Brian left because of his uncertainty of his contract being renewed. He felt the Olentangy job would not be there in the spring,if he was not renewed by Mck.

Malone will be the AD.
I have been told that Dru Joyce was the man.
