CANTON Kim Hetrick pitched her second no-hitter of the season in McKinley’s 14-0 win over Akron East in the second game of a doubleheader.
Hetrick struck out five and walked one to win for the third time this season. She also went 3-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored.
Also in the second game, Nikki Smith was 2-for-2 with a double and four RBIs and Courtney Givens went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs scored.
In the first game, Givens gave up just one hit in a 10-0 win. Kayley Yoho finished
3-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored.
